Privacy policy

Swiggy Wrapped is a personal project that turns your Swiggy order emails into a yearly recap. It is not an official Swiggy product. This page explains what it reads, what it keeps and how to remove it.

What we access

You sign in with Google. We ask for your name, email address and read-only Gmail access (the gmail.readonly scope). We use that access only to search for Swiggy order emails: messages from swiggy.in with a subject like “Your Swiggy order” or “Your Swiggy Gourmet order”. We do not read other emails.

What we store

From each matching email we extract the order details:

• order ID, restaurant, order and delivery date and time
• items and quantities
• total paid, fees, taxes, discounts and payment method
• the delivery address shown in the email

These are saved in a Postgres database (hosted by Neon), linked to your email address, so your recap loads without re-reading your inbox. The full email is not stored.

Your Google tokens

The Google access and refresh tokens are kept in an encrypted session cookie in your browser, not in our database. Signing out removes that cookie.

What we never do

• We never send, change or delete your email.
• We never sell your data or share it with anyone.
• We do not use your data for advertising or to train AI models.

Google API Services

Swiggy Wrapped's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices

You can remove this app's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To have your stored orders deleted, email vaibhavkulshreshtha@outlook.com from the address you signed in with and we will remove them.
